Scott
Hammond: Going Back On My Word To Not Raise Taxes.
Scott
Hammond: Making sure my cushy pension is taken care of first at the expense
of the taxpayers!
Scott
Hammond: When I Tell You Face-To-Face That I Won't Raise Your Taxes, I'm
Only Saying What You Want To Hear So You'll Vote For Me.
Here is a video of me telling
you I, Scott Hammond, will not raise taxes and that I keep my commitments.
I Lied
Watch The Video...You can see for yourself.
I LIED TO YOU!
I, Scott Hammond, Assemblyman
in District 13, voted YES to AB192 which increases the amount you have
to pay to record “a document, instrument, paper, notice, deed, conveyance,
map, chart, survey or any other writing other than an originally signed
copy of a certificate of marriage.”
I, Scott Hammond, voted YES
to AB508 so moped riders now have to register their vehicles at the DMV
(oh, joy!), and pay a new Government Regulation Tax! Everyone loves the
DMV and more taxes, right?
On June 6, 2011, I, Scott
Hammond, voted YES to raise your taxes by over $600 MILLION! I couldn't
just tax moped owners. Everyone should pay their "fair share".
After Federal, State, and
Local taxes, over half of your income goes to taxes already. I think you
should pay more.
Here
I am after voting for the $620 MILLION tax increase.
Why am I so Happy?
Because I, Scott Hammond, Assemblyman
for Assembly District 13 and candidate for Nevada Senate District 18, get
to keep my PUBLIC EMPLOYEE JOB!
That's right, I am a PUBLIC
EMPLOYEE. Now you know why I lied to you.
I had to lie so I could
get elected and make sure that me and my Public Employee Co-Workers all
keep our jobs and cushy pension.
Yes, I know that it is you,
the TAXPAYER who will be paying for all this but, heck, I have to take
care of me and mine, right?
Honestly, do you really think
I could cut the budget for the department I work for as a PUBLIC EMPLOYEE
and have to face the wrath of my boss?
Can you imagine me having
to face my co-workers after I cut their pay and benefits?
That's not something I want
to face which is why I had to increase your taxes!
Why else do you think we ignore
the Nevada Constitution Separation of Powers Clause (Art.3)
and run for office? We Public Employee/Legislators (and there are a lot
of us) must make sure that we take care of ourselves, and our co-workers,
first!
This is why I, SCOTT HAMMOND,
LIED TO YOU! I said what you wanted to hear to make sure I got elected.
